demands, and space limitations. All Babb Final
proofers feature heavy duty stainless steel, tubular
and sheet construction. They are easy to clean and
designed for fast, thorough washdown. |

Babb draws from a selection of proofing options to
custom design a final proofer that easily
accommodates a wide range of products, cuts labor
costs and change-over time, and maximizes your
output of high quality product. Variable speed drives
and multiple entry points offer a virtually unlimited
choice of proofing times.
For a wide variety of products, the continuous
proofer offers remarkable versatility. Multiple tiers
and input conveyors allow product to enter the final
proofer at a choice of entry points for increased
variability in proofing time. If floor space is an issue
Babb traveling tray proofers can be advantageous in
limited space situations. They are designed for pans,
boards, and/or panless and boardless proofing directly on the conveyor circuit. Controlled entry and
discharge at different starting points along a modular system control proof times in the traveling tray type
proofers. |
Batch Proofers also introduce several tiers and keep the product upright in a precisely controlled
environment. Proof times are controlled via an operator interface panel. Multiple input and output
conveyors maximize throughput efficiency by loading and unloading the proofer simultaneously.
BABBCO Environmental Enclosures
BABBCO walk-in environmental rooms enclose C.H. Babb Final Proofers with 3-6" insulated aluminum walls under USDA white-epoxy, stainless steel, and special windows. They improve product consistency, size, color, and weight by assuring that fermentation conditions remain constant, from hour to hour, season to season, and batch to batch. These custom designed environmental enclosures conform to national health and safety standards, and can be designed to be approved by CE, USDA, and FDA.
They're custom built to process all types of bakery and food service products reliably and efficiently. Taking into consideration all environmental factors, our designers are able to balance atmospheric loads with a sophisticated distribution system, employing duct heaters, air conditioners, vapor mist humidifiers, refrigerator coils, and dehumidifying systems. Completely self contained these rugged environmental enclosures are precision engineered for years of efficient and economical operation.
