When you and your colleagues have approved the final design, our engineers transmit the finished specifications directly over our network to machine tools controlled by the latest computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. This ensures that all procedures are performed exactly as specified in the original design. All stainless steel parts are precision-cut to close tolerances using a computer-controlled, 4000-watt laser cutting system in conjunction with 240-ton brakes, CNC lathes, and vertical milling machines. By relying on advanced technology to control fabrication, we greatly reduce the risk of human error, accelerate the manufacturing process, achieve a higher level of accuracy, and ensure that all parts and processes are archived for future reference.

There are other significant benefits to designing and building your BABBCO oven using CAD/CAM technology. Since all of your project specifications are permanently stored in memory, upon completion of the project, you'll receive a complete set of all spare parts, approval, and installation drawings on a CD-ROM disk. If you ever need to replace a part, we can provide it to you - or you can simply look the file up and have the replacement part made quickly by a local supplier. And because we can share files easily with other vendors, we can collaborate with them effectively on complex projects that integrate multiple products and systems from multiple sources.

While much of the manufacturing process at C.H. Babb is automated, there are some tasks for which the best person for the job is a skilled and experienced craftsman. That's why every component of your oven is hand-assembled and welded by our team of manufacturing professionals - many of whom have been building BABBCO ovens for more than 30 years. We can fully assemble your oven in as little as two days.

When each oven is completed and tested, we ship it to your facility for final assembly and "turnkey" installation - all of which can be included in your purchase price. Because all modular BABBCO ovens can be pre-plumbed and pre-wired, we can fully assemble your oven in as little as two days - not the six to 10 weeks that some other oven manufacturers require.

Modular design can also deliver major cost benefits to you in the future. If you ever need to increase production, you can simply add additional modules onto your existing BABBCO tunnel oven rather than having to buy an entirely new one.
